A limited edition art print portraying 19 Team Canada players dressed for the eighth and final game of the 1972 Summit Series, between Canada and Russia played at the Luchniki Arena in Communist Russia. With the series tied, everything was on the line for both teams. The starting players are shown lined up along the blue line with the Canadian and Russian flags hanging above. After a dramatic game with ups and downs for both teams, Canada’s Paul Henderson scores the game winning goal with just 34 seconds left in the game.
This limited edition print has been authentically signed by 35 Team Canada 1972 players/coaches, and Canadian artist Daniel Parry. Never before in history has a piece been created that carries the actual signatures of all the members listed below:
