Stan Mikita was one of the first great European hockey players to have excelled in the National Hockey League. He entered the NHL at age 18 with the Blackhawks, where he spent his entire 22 year career. This edition is limited to 200 pieces only.
This finished frame measures 21"x30". Mikita was the first player to ever win the Art Ross, Hart and Lady Byng Trophies all in one single season (1966-67). Unbelievably, he repeated the same accomplishment the next year. Mikita also won the Art Ross Trophy on two other occasions, the Patrick Award and was selected as an All-Star eight times. Interestingly Mikita was the first to introduce the curved stick but the highlight of his career was his Stanley Cup victory in 1960-61.
